David

David is the Assistant Museum Educator for School Programs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he plans, implements, and evaluates training for some 150 Museum Teaching Volunteers, Teaching Interns and Contractual Staff members who teach within the guided school tour program. Before that, he worked for five years in School Programs at Rubin Museum of Art, developing student and teacher programs which fostered meaningful, authentic experiences with the art and sacred traditions of Himalayan Asia. David has an M.S.Ed in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a B.A. with Honours in Art History from McGill University. He is a native New Yorker and lives in Astoria.
