Sheri Levinsky Raskin Assistant Vice President, Education Intrepid Museum

Sheri

Sheri Levinsky Raskin has worked at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum since January 2005 and is currently the Assistant Vice President for Education. During this time, she has overseen the development and implementation of the majority of the education programs offered. Sheri is extremely passionate about the quality of museum experiences for all visitors, and is an active contributor to community education organizations and follower of trends and advancements in the museum field. With more than 15 years of experience, she has worked at a wide range of institutions including The Saint Louis Art Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, Worldways Children\'s Museum, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and has consulted on museum interpretation projects. She holds a M.A.T. in Museum Education from George Washington University, a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Washington University, and a Certificate of Specialization in Historic Preservation from Goucher College. Sheri is the current NYCMER President, former NYCMER Vice President and Conference Chair, a past NYCMER conference committee member, and currently a New York State Representative for the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Education Committee.
