Kristin Scarola is a Senior Educator and the Family Programs Coordinator at the Brooklyn Museum. Along with creating programs for family audiences, she serves on the Education Division’s Access Committee, and is currently developing programs for individuals with visual impairments and those affected by Alzheimer ’s disease. Prior to her current position at the Brooklyn Museum, Kristin taught in public and Montessori schools, free lanced as a teaching artist, and was an educator at the Newark Museum. Kristin is a practicing visual artist, holds a BA in Jazz Performance and Ethnomusicology and obtained her MA in Critical Studies and Ethnography at New York University.
