Join us to kick off the NYCMER year! Our annual Meet & Greet will take place at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, located at 36 Battery Pl, New York, NY 10280.
Connect with fellow museum professionals while discovering how the Museum engages visitors through Holocaust education and the interpretation of difficult history. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, take in stunning views of the Hudson River from the Museum’s Garden of Stones, and explore the Museum at your own pace.
The evening will feature guided tours of the special exhibition Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark and exclusive access to the Museum’s newest exhibition, Will These Words Reach You? The Underground Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto, offering guests a chance to experience the exhibitions and connect with fellow museum professionals.
Learn about NYCMER Peer Groups and what we have in store in the coming months, along with other NYCMER membership benefits. Connect with colleagues and raise a glass to the year ahead!
After the event, attendees are invited to join an optional waterfront walk through Battery Park. Enjoy the scenic views and the refreshing Hudson River breeze, weather permitting.
Cost: Free for members and one guest, and $10 for not-yet-members.
